RSW Passenger Processing Modernization
Upgraded ticket counters, gate podiums, curbside check-in, and signage to modernize passenger flow and enhance the terminal experience. Completed around 2020 as part of RSW’s broader terminal modernization program.
The Passenger Processing Modernization project at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) enhanced the efficiency and aesthetics of the terminal’s ticketing and curbside experience. Completed around 2020, the initiative upgraded all passenger service areas—including airline ticket counters, gate podiums, curbside check-in, and rental car counters—to improve flow, accessibility, and visual consistency.
The project introduced modern finishes, new signage, and reconfigured layouts designed to align with future terminal expansion efforts. These improvements set the foundation for subsequent large-scale initiatives, such as the Terminal Expansion Program, by modernizing critical front-of-house infrastructure and streamlining passenger circulation from curb to gate.
