A memorial honoring 80 local Vietnam War casualties orignally located in Fort Myers and now relocated to Cape Coral's Eco Park.
Originally dedicated in 2008 by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 594, the Southwest Florida Vietnam Veterans Memorial honors the 80 local service members who lost their lives during the Vietnam War. The memorial was initially located at the intersection of Colonial Road and McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers. In 2021, to ensure better visibility, accessibility, and long-term maintenance, the monument was relocated to Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve in Cape Coral. This serene setting, surrounded by other military memorials, provides a dignified space for reflection and remembrance.
